The objective of studying Home Economics for students is to equip them with practical life skills and knowledge that promote healthy living, self-reliance, and responsible decision-making in everyday life. Through Home Economics, students learn how to care for their bodies, manage personal hygiene, prepare and select nutritious meals, maintain cleanliness in their environment, and properly care for clothing and household items. It also helps them develop important values such as discipline, responsibility, creativity, and resource management. Additionally, the subject introduces learners to various career opportunities and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to their families, communities, and future economic development.
