Studying Literature in English helps students develop strong reading, writing, communication, critical-thinking and analytical skills. It exposes them to different cultures, experiences, values and perspectives, helping them understand both society and human behaviour. Literature also improves creativity, imagination, vocabulary and emotional intelligence, while teaching students to analyse characters, themes, conflicts and social issues. It prepares learners for careers and further studies in law, education, journalism, media, communication, publishing, theatre, writing and other fields where effective communication and critical thinking are essential.
